COVID-19 vaccines, tests available in Clay City next week

CLAY CITY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Clay County Health Department is partnering with the state on Sept. 20 to host another free COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinic at Goshorn Park in Clay City, Ind.

The drive-up clinic will be held at 200 Nye Street in Clay City and will last from Sept. 20 to Sept. 22. The clinic will be open daily from noon to 8 p.m.

Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. The Pfizer vaccine however is only approved for use in children ages 12-17.

Both rapid antigen and PCR testing will be available at the clinic, according to a news release. No appointments are necessary and the clinic is operating as a drive-up, walk-in site.
