TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Covered With Love Diaper Bank has switched to appointment-only in order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus; and the number of appointments being booked is growing.
The organization has distributed more than 6,000 diapers this month alone. They said that’s 1,000 more diapers than last month. Because of the high demand for diapers at this time, they’re welcoming donations as well.
“We’re always accepting any size of diapers but our 4’s, 5’s, 6’s and disposable training pants are the ones that go a lot faster so we are always in need of those,” founder, Angie Francis said.
The organization also needs wet wipes among other hygiene supplies like baby shampoo, and they’re also accepting donations; however, financial assistance goes the furthest.
