Community invited to celebrate diversity during 5th annual walk

Local News
The community is invited to celebrate diversity and inclusion during the fifth annual Diversity Walk.
The event, sponsored by Hamilton Center, Inc., will be held June 15 in downtown Terre Haute. There is no cost to participate and all people of varying ages, races, creeds, colors, orientations and physical limitations are encouraged to attend.
The 1.5-mile walk will begin and end at the corner of 7th Street and Wabash Avenue. Registration will open at 8 a.m., and the walk will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The committee is currently working on transportation options for individuals with mobility restrictions who wish to participate in the walk.
Following the walk, food and music will be provided.
More than 3,000 people attended the walk in 2018, and organizers hope to make the 2019 event even bigger and better.
