TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new survey is asking for the community’s input on how to improve Terre Haute.

This initiative is through the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and “See you in Terre Haute” plan.

The information gathered through the Community Census survey will give local leaders a better understanding of overall feelings, opinions and impressions of the area.

With this new data, the six Community Plan Task Forces can shape plans, establish goals and determine the direction moving forward.

“Terre Haute has already gone through a lot of change and it will continue to undergo a lot of positive change. We want to continue to see how people are viewing us today,” Director of Community Engagement with the Chamber, Josh Alsip said. “It’s a chance to have your voice heard.”

A link to the survey can be found by clicking on this link. All are encouraged to take it by the end of April 26, but if you are unable it will remain open for the next few days.

A second round of surveying will be taken in the fall.
