NEWPORT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A TransCare Ambulance was transporting a patient to Carle Hospital Monday when it was struck by another vehicle in rural Clinton, Indiana.
According to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of the second vehicle, Stephanie A. Rollins, 34, of Clinton, ignored a traffic control device causing the accident. She was charged with driving while suspended and transported to the Vermillion County Jail where she posted bond and was released.
No one was injured in the crash.
