CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Vermillion County Sheriff Mike Phelps reported Monday that a rural West Terre Haute man was arrested for pocketing money from his cash register at the Clinton Walmart.
Jerry L. Neice, 26, was arrested on charges of theft after it was discovered by Walmart Loss Prevention that the employee had been pocketing money from his cash drawer. After a two-month investigation, Walmart turned all evidence over to Phelps’ office and Deputy Nick Hall arrested Neice at 2:20 p.m. While searching Neice, Hall found an electronic vape along with a wax substance known as DAB (Potent THC Wax).
Neice was take to the Vermillion County Jail where he was booked on charges of theft, possession of a schedule-1 controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
