CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has announced the cancellation of a Silver Alert concerning a missing Clay County man.
“Mr. Schopmeyer has been located and is safe. Working off of a tip, Clay County Detectives, contacted the Ossian Police Department in Wells County, Indiana. Ossian Police Officers located Mr. Schopmeyer and he is in the process of being reunited with his family,” Sheriff Brison Swearingen said.
Original: A statewide Silver Alert has now been activated for a missing Clay County man.
According to the alert, Bradley J. Schopmeyer, 29, was last seen around 11 a.m. on Wednesday. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said he is missing from Brazil. Schopmeyer stands 5’9″, 220 lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and basketball shorts.
