CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: As of 3:30 p.m. the Clark County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the suspect has been located and taken into custody.
Original: Local law enforcement is present in the area near Ernst Road between 1050th Road and Darwin Ferry Road as a part of a current investigation into a burglary.
According to a post from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, officers are on the scene looking for a male suspect that may be involved in the reported burglary.
The post continues and encourages residents in the area to make sure their homes and vehicles are properly locked and to report any suspicious activity or people seen in the area to police by calling 911.
