TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A monthly event in downtown Terre Haute will have a new spin this year.
The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce announced First Friday will be extended to include a block party after each event beginning April 3.
Traditional First Friday events will still take place from 5 to 7 p.m. After that, the block will be transformed into an open-air beer garden with food trucks and live music.
“We’re really excited that our first band will be Mullet Over,” Chamber president Kristin Craig said. “They have a great following and I think they will bring a great energy and vibe to the downtown area.”
