VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Cayuga man has been charged with sexual misconduct with a minor following an investigation by Indiana State Police.
According to ISP, Lee Pearman, 38, was arrested on Thursday in relation to an investigation that began in June. ISP began investigating after the Vermillion County Department of Child Services sent information concerning allegations of sexual misconduct with a girl under the age of 16.
That investigation wrapped up in early August, with the Vermillion County Prosecutor filing charges and triggering an arrest warrant for Pearman on August 4.
A Vermillion County Judge reportedly set Pearman’s bond at $15,000 with 10% allowed.
Assisting ISP in the investigation was the Vermillion County Department of Child Services and Susie’s Place.
