TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — You can help support the services provided by Terre Haute Catholic Charities by attending their third annual Cheers for Charity event.
Cheers for Charity is a wine and bourbon tasting event taking place November 18 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
In addition to the tasty drinks, the event will feature live music played by the Tommy Kelly Band, as well as a silent auction.
VIP ticket goers will get to start tasting a bit earlier and get more tastings. Once the event opens to all guests, everyone with a ticket can enjoy beverage tasting as well as appetizers and dessert.
Proceeds benefit Catholic Charities which is celebrating 50 years in Terre Haute.
“Nourishing minds, bodies, and spirits,” Assistant Agency Director Jennifer Tames said. “So we’re doing things like providing safe shelter through Bethany House Emergency Shelter, quality youth programming at Ryves Youth Center, nutritious food through Terre Haute Catholic Charities Food Bank, and then essential, personal, and household needs through things like our Clothes Closet as well as our Christmas Store program.”
General admission tickets cost $50 while VIP tickets can be purchased for $75 each. They can be purchased online here.
