VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Vigo County CASA is gearing up for its biggest event of the year: The Whoville Toy Donation Drive.

In various locations across the county, you will find trees that are decorated with tags that have a listed age group donors can choose from.

You choose the age group you’d like to shop for, purchase the items, and then drop them off at the CASA office in the government annex building at 141 Oak Street.

Glenna Cheesman, Vigo County CASA Director, joined Shelby and David for WTWO 6:30 Today to preview the event and how you can help.

“This is our 6th year of doing this, it has grown over the years. It has grown so much that we now take over the Vigo County Fairgrounds in the Exhibit Hall. We actually transform that to go through the Snowflake Express to head to Whoville,” Cheeseman said.

Children will receive the gifts on December 9 and enjoy the fun evening in Whoville.
