SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A train hit a car Tuesday a little after 3:00 p.m. near Paxton Indiana.
According to a Facebook post from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, it happened at the crossing of Old Highway 41 and County Road 100 East.
The driver identified as Ashley Leffler, 35, of Linton, was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff’s department investigated the collision and determined the SUV driver disregarded the railroad crossing arms and was struck by a northbound CSX train.
