VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Emergency crews responded a vehicle that drove into the front of a building in southern Vigo County Saturday night.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m. at Boot City on U.S. 41.
According to Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, a 74-year-old woman was backing out of a parking space in front of the building. She told deputies that she thought she was “driving a stick shift” and got the pedals confused. She accelerated and crashed into the front of the building.
No one was injured in the crash.
American Idol alum Alex Miller was scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. last night at the Boot City Opry.
