TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Campers filled Fowler Park to celebrate the Labor Day weekend.

Many of those who decided to camp said that camp spaces were completely filled throughout the weekend.

Casey Walker visited Fowler Park and said that they choose to camp because this is one of last big holidays before summer.

“Labor Day just gives us one last kick with the school year starting off,” Walker said. “It allows us to get together as a family and enjoy the weekend.”

The next big event at Fowler Park will be the Pioneer Days on October 2nd.
