TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Fire crews responded to a commercial structure fire in Terre Haute early Wednesday morning.
According to Terre Haute Fire Chief Bill Berry, the call came in a little before 3 a.m. and happened in the 300 block of South 1st Street.
He said a 2021 Chevy 6500 heavy-duty dump truck caught fire inside a garage in the building.
The sprinkler system was activated prior to the fire department’s arrival and Berry said they put out the fire quickly.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
