TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Preparations are underway for the Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club summer day camp, running from June 1-Aug. 9 and accepting kids ages 5 to 14.

The camp’s theme will be, “Time Traveling Through the Decades.” From 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., campers will participate in a variety of activities such as games, arts and crafts and field trips. A daily meal and snack will also be provided.

Program director Ashton Stevenson said, “In the past, we’ve had about 150 (participants). I don’t know if we’ll get those. I know our numbers were a little bit down last year. But we’re hoping with things starting to open again, more kiddos will start to come.”

Cost for the camp is $60 per child, and $55 for an additional camper. Applications are available at the Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club facility at 924 N. 13th St.
