CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A boil order has been issued for various parts of Clark County from the Clark-Edgar Rural Water District for April 26.
The Clark-Edgar Rural Water District had issued a boil order due to emergency water line repair.
The following locations are covered under the boil order:
- Parts of Wabash Township
- Parts of Anderson Township
- Parts of Darwin Township
Starting at Arbuckle Road on IL Highway 1 and moving South to Wilderness Road, including everyone East to Macke Rd. This includes Quality Lime Road, everyone West of Fox Road, and everyone in between these roads.
The boil order is expected to remain in effect until samples that have been submitted to a lab in Charleston, IL have been reported as safe.
The estimated date that the order will be lifted is April 28 provided the first set of samples sent to the lab came back safe. The boil order will remain in effect until the sample reports are considered satisfactory.
