A boil order effecting parts of Seelyville has been lifted.
SEELYVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Due to a water main break Monday night, some Seelyville Water customers are in under a boil order.
Customers who live in the area south of US Hwy 40 and east of Main Street in Seelyville should boil their water for at least five minutes for disinfection purposes prior to drinking or cooking with it. This also includes Chamberlain Road south of Huntington Estates, Chamberlain Heights, Milner Road, Sharon Street, Chandler Avenue, Red Fox, Mine Road and Studio Street.
Water will be tested Tuesday and Wednesday, and officials anticipate lifting the boil order by late Thursday morning.
