CASEY, Ill. — Six years after a decomposed woman’s body was found along Interstate 70 near Casey, Ill., police are hoping to finally identify her.
The Casey Police Department posted a photo of a clay rendering to Facebook Wednesday to once again search for answers.
Illinois Department of Transportation employees found the body Oct. 18, 2013 along the westbound entrance to the interstate off of Illinois Route 49.
The deceased woman was described as being a white female in her 20s or 30s with dark hair. She stood approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighed approximately 140 pounds and had no tattoos.
“We would like your help in finding her family so she can be identified and taken home,” Casey police said.
