TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – The Terre Foods Cooperative Market hosted the 13th annual Blueberry Festival. It happened in the Historic 12 Points neighborhood.

There were several activities for attendees to enjoy like live music, fresh blueberries, and over 15 local vendors.

This is the Co-Op’s second year at their Lafayette location.

The group is planS to open a market in 12 Points to better serve the area.

Board Member Courtney Dosch said it’s important for every neighborhood to have fresh produce.

“ The 12 Points area is a little bit of a food desert,” Dosch said. “Fresh produce, milk, cheese, and meats are hard to come buy in a two-mile walking radius of this area. So we hope to fill that gap.”

All proceeds from the event go to support Terre Foods Co-Op Market.
