GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A crash Tuesday afternoon in Greene County has claimed the life of a Bloomington woman.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Tonya Allgood, 49, was driving her truck southbound on Interstate-69, near mile marker 98, when, for an unknown reason, the truck traveled off of the roadway and into the median. The vehicle then got back onto the roadway before overturning in a ditch on the north side of the road.
Allgood was ejected during the crash and was pronounced dead.
A juvenile passenger was taken to IU Health for evaluation of unknown injuries.
