BLANFORD, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: After multiple days without water the residents of Blanford have restored service Thursday.

Clinton Township Water Company Superintendent Jon Haynes reports that the repair to the line under the creek was successful, and as such, the boil alert has been lifted.

Haynes said the issue began the previous weekend when a main line under the nearby creek was damaged leading to the company shutting water service down. Residents were able to pick up bottled water while waiting for service to be restored.
