TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Black business owners in Terre Haute came together Tuesday for an inclusivity panel hosted by the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce.

Participants discussed their personal experiences with racism and prejudice. They also discussed solutions to combating the issues and ways to continue the conversation.

“Everyone must make a commitment to create a better future,” Chris Tooley, co-owners of Wing Stop in Terre Haute, said. “We can commit to working towards equality and social justice for everyone. We can commit towards that even if we disagree on some of the little details about it. We can still make that commitment to one another that we want to improve it and make things better.”

The Chamber of Commerce will hold similar panels in the near future.
