Annual Thanksgiving Day race to help fight hunger in the Wabash Valley

Local News

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – People can get their Thanksgiving Day started on the right foot while making a difference in the Wabash Vally.

The 7th Annual Turkey Trot will take place on November 26. The race begins at 9 a.m. on Cherry Street between 8th and 9th Streets.

The event is a way to collect food for local pantries and soup kitchens while helping people get a healthy start to the holiday.

Masks will be required before the run and afterward, and people will be asked to social distance.

There is also a virtual option this year for people who prefer to run on their own.
