TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Several local streets and alleys will be closed temporarily in multiple areas throughout the city as cooler weather sets in and local churches, organizations, and communities are preparing for annual fall events.
According to Terre Haute’s Director of Inspection, Bradley Utz, the city will have multiple temporary closures for block parties and Halloween events.
The following locations will be closed for local events:
- Closure: S. 20th Street from Hulman to the alley | October 7
- Event: Free Life Community Church Block Party | 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Closure: Alley between S. 7th and 8th from Vorhees to S. Stewart Street | October 7
- Event: New Life Community Church Block Party | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Closure: N. 19th Street from N. 8th Ave to Plum and S 8th Ave. to 7th Ave. | October 28
- Event: Halloween Event | 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
