TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Wabash Valley Fairgrounds hosted the Indiana Exotic Pet Show on Sunday.
Hundreds of pets were on sale and display including reptiles, birds, guinea pigs and hedgehogs.
The event is governed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and its guidelines say that the show can sell and display pets that aren’t protected by the state. Also, they must not be considered dangerous.
Promoter Ron Billingsly said that around 600 people attended the show.
Billingsly confirmed that the next exotic pet show at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds will be on June 5th.
