A locally owned coffee shop is coming to West Terre Haute

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A new coffee shop will open in West Terre Haute this fall.

The Macksville Coffee Company is owned by Tracey and Victor Rubinacci, and the two are both lifelong West Terre Haute residents.

They’re excited to bring something new to the city.

“I’m very excited to bring this to West Terre Haute,” Tracey Rubinacci said. “I just want to bring the community back together again like it was when I was a kid.”

The shop takes the place of what was the city’s first post office and an old antique store. Tracey Rubinacci looked at the building and believed she could turn it into something that the entire community would enjoy.

“I was drawn to it because it was an antique store and I like antiques, and I thought it’d be just a quaint little spot to put a small coffee shop.

Victor Rubinacci is excited for the possibility of future generations getting to possibly experience the new coffee shop.

“It’s our plan to keep going for generations,” Victor Rubinacci said. “Hopefully, it can be hand down to our kids to keep it going.”
