BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Annunciation Catholic Church in Brazil is set to open its new food pantry on Saturday.
They’re partnered with The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul to build the new facility.
The church will move its previous food pantry operations from its basement, to the new 200 square foot facility across the street.
The food pantry is not exclusive to church members or Clay County residents. Saint Vincent De Paul Vice President Mike Robinson said that the pantry will be available to everyone.
Robinson said that the bigger space will allow them to feed more families.
Once the pantry is open, its hours will be on Tuesdays from noon to 2 p.m.
The pantry’s dedication is set for Saturday at noon.
