TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – In 2021 The Local Vinyl opened up shop in the Historic 12 Points Neighborhood. The shop made their name known to the community upon the grand open by a music festival.

Owner of The Local Vinyl Eleanor Jones said was only appropriate they keep that tradition going.

Saturday June 11th over 15 local vendors filled Maple Avenue and 13th Street for the 2nd annual Rosebox Art and Music Festival.

Those in attendance were able to enjoy live entertainment from four different bands and four different comedians.

Jones said its important to support our local arts scene.

“Terre Haute has proven time and time again that they want to support local,” Jones said. “I think it’s great to be able to host these vendors and musicians in 12 Points, as well as get the community to know other 12 Points businesses around the neighborhood.”

The Local Vinyl plans to host the Rosebox Art and Music Festival for years to come.
