TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The 2021 Midas “Drive out Hunger” food drive is now officially underway.

Our station is joining forces with Midas in Terre Haute and Baesler’s Market for this food donation effort. Crews picked up the first load of donated food items Thursday and delivered it to Manna from Seven.

“Our goal is to feed as many people as we can that need it,” Susan Ceitz, CEO of Manna from Seven, said. “Our numbers have been sky rocketing. We’re currently feeding over 400 families a week and we are preparing for as many as 500 families tomorrow for our annual thanksgiving giveaway.”

Donations are still being accepted to help with the holiday season as well. For more information on the drive, click here.
