TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Halloween event coming up next week aims to give kids a fun place to trick or treat.

It’s called the “Jeepers Creepers: 12 Points Trunk or Treat” and it’s being made possible by 12 Points Revitalization, 12 Points Creators Market, and Wabash Valley Misfits.

Brenna Deal with 12 Points said they already have around 15 to 18 Jeeps signed up. The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. next Thursday, October 26 in the 12 Points area, with decorated Jeeps arriving for Trunk or Treat. The “best-dressed” Jeep will win a prize.

“It’s absolutely amazing. I mean the best part about it is being able to see the smile on the kid’s faces. They come and look at all our jeep decorated and all of us were in costumes and it is just absolutely amazing feeling,” said Jack Hatton President of the Wabash Valley Misfits.
