KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The 100 Women Who Care Knox County has announced that its January gift recipient was Helping His Hands.
Helping His Hands is an organization that specializes in short-term missions dealing with disaster response aid.
According to the group, Helping His Hands received a total of $5,400 the night of their meeting, with donations expected to increase as more members donate.
Since 100 Women Knox County was created it has donated more than $180,000 to the local nonprofit community.
The next 100 Women Who Care Knox County meeting will be held in April.
