TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Three local churches came together Sunday morning for a big celebration of worship.
St. Stephen’s Episcopal, Central Presbyterian and Centenary United Methodist churches all joined together for their Holypalooza service.
The congregations met outside of Central Presbyterian for a procession to the service.
The message was given by Reverend Dawn Black, a combined choir sang musical selections and the day ended with a annual barbecue dinner with United Campus Ministries.
Members of the congregations said Holypalooza is a great opportunity for fellowship and gathering with the community.
“All three churches are coming together and it’s just kind of a way for us to all have a good time and to join and give each other thanks and just have fun together,” said Central Presbyterian Church member, Charlie Conner.
All three churches can be found on the campus of ISU.
