DUGGER, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — On Saturday, May 27, Dugger Town Marshal Billy Snead made a traffic stop near the intersection of Johnson Street and Highway 54 in Dugger.

The driver, Stacy Bowers, exited the vehicle and while talking with Marshal Snead, she threw out a baggie that appeared to have a white, rock-like substance in it and a bag that appeared to have marijuana, under his police vehicle.

Upon further investigation, Marshal Snead located approximately 12 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a bag of marijuana. Stacy Bowers was arrested and transported to the Sullivan County Jail without incident.

● Possession of Methamphetamine over 10 grams, but under 28 grams, Level 4 Felony
● Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor
● Cited for having no operator’s license.
