State government is meant to help all 92 counties in Indiana prosper.
Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch (R) Indiana, visited the city of Sullivan Monday to see the state’s efforts at work.
Mayor Clint Lamb took Lt. Gov. Crouch for a tour of Sullivan, showing her road improvements, storm water construction, park plans and the success of the “blight elimination program.”
She says rural counties are just as important as the state’s major contributors.
“So what I hope to see, and what the governor hopes to see, is to have those programs that we have at the state being taken advantage of and using to… being used to transform communities and actually to allow that economic development to occur,” says Crouch.
Mayor Lamb says their bipartisan relationship is one he’s thrilled to be a part of.
He says this administration is willing to put aside their party affiliation and just help people, which is what Hoosiers need.
