The weather was hot and muggy this Saturday, but the valley residents kept their cool with a little help from some girls and their lemonade stands.
Girls all over Vigo County set up their stands in an effort to raise funds for different causes.
Participant Evie Mitchell told us her funds will go towards the histiocytosis center, and the Gracelyn Bennett and her fellow Girl Scouts will donate their funds to the Union Hospital N-I-C-U.
The girls gained valuable life lessons about business transactions and made sweet memories with friends and family.
All while helping serve their community.
