League of Women Voters of Vigo County gets word out about online resource for voters

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – With Indiana’s primary just a little over a month away on June 2, the League of Women Voters of Vigo County wants the public to know about an easy way to meet the candidates.

Vote411 has information about voting in Indiana. People can also learn more about the candidates in the Vigo County races, as well as state and federal races.

LWV of Vigo County Secretary Robbie Piper says their organization usually holds candidate forums, but they can’t do that right now due to the pandemic.

“Vote411.org is our contribution to the people of Vigo County,” says Piper. “Since they won’t be able to meet the candidates in-person, they’ll be able to at least read what the candidates have to say on Vote411.org.”
