Knitted Knockers

A local chapter of Knitted Knockers provides free breast prosthesis to Wabash Valley residents.

They’re made from soft yarn and come in all sizes.

They easily slip into a regular bra filling it out.

Volunteer knitters use patterns provided by the national Knitted Knockers organization.

You can pick up a pair of Knitted Knockers at Hope Center in Terre Haute or Terre Haute Regional Hospital’s cancer center.

You can also request a pair by going to the local Knitted Knocker Facebook page or call Chris Hines at 812-249-5736 or Carrie Draper 812-264-7318.On the Facebook page you can also find out how to be a volunteer knitter. You can also crochet them.

Knitters who buy yarn from River Wool in downtown Terre Haute receive 10% off.
