Homicide suspect, Kenneth R. Pitts Jr. was found staying at a camp site in the state of Nevada. Terre Haute Police say they obtained information regarding Pitts’ location.
Law enforcement in Laughlin, Nevada was contacted and just before midnight on Friday May 25th, Las Vegas Police Dept.’s Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Pitts. He’s currently staying in the Clark County, Nevada Jail.
Terre Haute Police will be working with the Vigo Co. Prosecutor’s Office in the coming days to secure his extradition.
Pitts is suspected of killing Alice Anita Oswald. Oswald went missing in November 2017, her home was set on fire in the following months and her body was found in her vehicle in a pond in Vigo County.
