A man wanted for the murder of an elderly Terre Haute woman now sits in the Vigo County jail. Kenneth Pitts, Jr. faces more than a dozen charges related to the death of Alice Anita Oswald.
The charges include murder, arson and obstruction of justice.
Oswald went missing in November 2017. Days later her house was set on fire. A couple of months after her disappearance, Oswald’s body was found in her car in a Vigo County pond.
Pitts was found across the country in Nevada, outside of Las Vegas. Last month, he waived extradition, and late Saturday night, he was booked into the local jail.
