There were dozens of vendors at Congressman Larry Bucshon’s job fair Wednesday on the search for future employees.
Many hopeful job applicants filled the Hulman Center. Potential candidates say the job fair is a great way to sample local opportunities, which vendors benefit from as well.
“The benefit is that we see people face-to-face. We can actually refer them to our office,” says Martha Grijalva, Alorica Site Director. “Get an on-the-spot interview today, and start them as soon as Friday, so if people are seriously looking for a job, we definitely have great openings, and a great opportunity for them to start as soon as possible.”
Another word of advice Alorica has for job fair etiquette is to come with not just a resume, but enough time.
