Ivy Tech To Award Credentials At Commencement

Ivy Tech Community College Wabash Valley will award its graduates credentials at its 2017 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 11th.

A total of 1,155 degrees, certificates, and technical certificates will be awarded. Over 800 students will graduate this academic year, and 350 students are expected to participate in the Commencement ceremony on Thursday.

The Commencement Ceremony will be held at 7 PM at the Hulman Center in downtown Terre Haute. The public is encouraged to attend the free event and no tickets are required.

Ivy Tech Community College estimates that nearly 19,375 credentials will be awarded at commencement ceremonies throughout the state, taking place from May 6 to May 20. In addition to earning credentials, Ivy Tech students have earned thousands of credits to transfer to four-year institutions throughout the state, saving those students more than $38 million dollars in tuition costs.
