TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Ivy Tech is hosting a virtual career event on July 21 to help job-seekers skill-up for employment. The event is called Partner-Up because it’s in partnership with the Vigo County Public Library, United Way of the Wabash Valley and WorkOne.
Attendees will be able to receive virtual career counseling, and learn about career prep skills and resources that are available. That includes financial assistance, but organizers want to make it clear that finances are no reason not to attend.
“There is free community college available, and we just need to make sure that our community understands that cost is not a barrier or a factor right now,” said Leah Allman, Vice Chancellor of Enrollment at Ivy Tech .
Registration is required to attend and those who sign up will be given a link to attend virtually via Zoom. To register visit here.
