Ivy Tech adds mental health counselor to campus to help students succeed

News

Ivy Tech Community College wants students to succeed. So, it’s providing a full-time behavioral health therapist to campus.

According to the school’s chancellor, Leeanne Crooks, life often gets in the way of students finishing their classes.

The counseling will help students deal with mental health and wellness issues that might arise.

The therapist, Michelle Edwards, says students can make appointments and come see her in between classes.

The goal is to help students before there’s a crisis
