TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State University received a large donation to the college’s technology department.
ESKO Graphics Inc. donated their software to the packaging program in the form of a check of over one million dollars.
According to a representative from ESKO, this software technology will allow students to gain work experience in the classroom.
Many companies use the ESKO software for their packaging needs.
ISU Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Mike Licari said this donation will give the packaging program an edge against other universities.
“Our industry partners are able to take our students as interns and then as future employees,” he explained. “And know and have the confidence that our students are going to be successful in their businesses.”
