ISU Sustainability Day

News

Local college students are raising awareness about sustainability.

Indiana State University hosted a Campus Sustainability Day on Tuesday.

There were all kinds of events taking place on campus that provided educational materials and ways for students to get involved.

Students say everyone can take part in Sustainability Day.

“We can cut back on drinking water bottles completely and use re-useuable water bottles whenever possible. Then, we can also reduce all water consumption, like we can use cold water in the washing machines and take shorter showers,” says DiAndre Francis, the Vice President of the Sycamore Environmental club.

Francis says that even the smallest action can make a big impact.
