TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University students gave back to the community by building two changing room shelters at Griffin Bike Park.

A total of 24 to 30 students from the Methods, Materials and Equipments course took part in the project.

Instructor Brent MacDonald likes to incorporate community projects into the class. He said it teaches students skills they need to learn while helping others.

MacDonald is looking for similar projects to incorporate into future classes.
