ISU Spring Career Fair

News

Indiana State University students got the chance to make face-to-face connections with employers Wednesday.

ISU held its Spring Career Fair at Hulman Center.

There were 130 employers from around the Wabash Valley, the state and the country.

That’s up from last year’s career fair.

With employers from a wide variety of companies, organizers say there was something for everyone.

“I think it’s important that people realize there are jobs available. There are. Some are local and around the state, and around the country. Right here in the Wabash Valley, there’s an abundance of jobs, jobs that often times go unfilled and it’s hard for companies to function when they’re short staffed,” says Teresa Dwyer, the Assistant Director for Employer Relations.

ISU’s Career Center also works to connect students with employers.
