Indiana State University held its ninth annual Earth Day celebration Wednesday.
Groups from the university and community vendors joined together to share how they practice sustainability.
This year’s event focused on lowering meat consumption and, as always, protecting the environment.
“It’s important for the community and here at ISU as a day to celebrate the earth we live on and to learn more about how to protect it,” said Nick McCreary, sustainability coordinator. “Every area of activism needs its day to be front and center, and today’s for the earth.”
Earth Day is April 22.
